We must examine what kind of vehicle is right for teenagers if we ever hope to understand what parents are thinking when they put their loved ones behind that wheel. We know that teenagers can be impulsive, and they are by definition inexperienced drivers. Thus, we should look for something that slows down dangerous impulses and also provides support for their driving flaws.

A vehicle with top safety ratings, electronic stability control, and that is on the bigger side is preferred to other vehicle types. This is because those features make up something that provides a lot of safety from weather conditions and accidents while at the same time keeps teenage drivers from necessarily having an impulse to go wild and drive far too fast.

There is only so much that any adult can do to control the hormones and impulses of their teenager, but they can and should certainly do what they can to keep them safe in a vehicle.
