Billingsley Hyundai is ecstatic to announce that the 2017 Hyundai Elantra along with its well-equipped SE and premium Limited trim options is adding a third trim level: Eco. As part of its sixth-generation development, the Elantra Eco puts a focus on fuel efficiency.
Powertrain Efficiency
The secret to the Hyundai Elantra fuel efficiency of this new trim is the 1.4-liter Kappa turbocharged powertrain capable of 128 horsepower combined with an integrated exhaust manifold and cylinder. Another unique feature is the Drive Mode Select, which allows drivers to choose their driving style—Eco, Normal, or Sport—with the push of a button. At a time when gas prices are still unpredictable, this fuel-efficient model comes to the lineup just in time to put consumers’ minds at ease with 32 MPG in the city and 40 on the highway, making for 35 combined. This Eco addition increases the value of the Elantra while passing on additional savings to drivers.
The Eco trim level still looks the same as the SE and Limited, but with an extra Eco badge on the side. This version of the Elantra also comes standard with seven airbags, Lane Change Assist, Blind Spot Detection, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, and 7-inch touchscreen with rear view camera.
